DC Studiosin James Gunn ja Peter Safran ovat melko hankalassa paikassa, koska he joutuvat jyräämmään Zack Snyderin luoman Snyderversen jäännökset ja luomaan DC:n uuden elokuvauniversumin.

Henry Cavill ei näyttele Teräsmiestä, Ben Affleck ei ole enää Batman, mutta ohjaa ehkä Superman-elokuvan, Gal Gadotin Wonder Woman 3 on hyllytetty, Jason Momoa jättää Aquaman-hahmonsa seuraavan elokuvan jälkeen (hänen tosin huhutaan olevan DC:n Lobo), Ezra Miller tuskin tulee jatkamaan Flashina kaiken sekoilun jälkeen ja Ray Fisher pelasi itsensä pelistä ulos jo monta vuotta sitten.
Shazamin kohtalosta ei ole vielä kuultu mitään, mutta eiköhän sekin taru ole lopussa.
Nyt Snyder-fanit väittävät, että James Gunn tuhoaa DC:n, koska hän on niin kateellinen Snyderille ja tämän tekeleille.
