Taistelulähetit – 1917 -elokuva näytettiin lauantaina New Yorkissa, ja sotaspektaakkeli sai ylistävät ensireaktiot.
Sam Mendesin (Skyfall) ohjaama sotaelokuva sijoittuu ensimmäiseen maailmansotaan ja kertoo kahdesta brittisotilaasta (George MacKay ja Dean-Charles Chapman), joiden täytyy matkustaa vihollislinjojen läpi viemään viestiä, joka estää satoja sotilaita kuolemasta suunnitellun hyökkäyksen takia.
