Netflix julkaisi juuri uuden sarjamurhaajasarjansa, Dahmerin, joka on nostanut vihamyräkän sosiaalisessa mediassa.
Negatiivisen palautteen ryöppy ei ole syntynyt niinkään miehiä ja poikia tappaneesta, syöneestä ja uhriensa ruumiiden kanssa seksiä harrastaneesta Jeffrey Dahmerista, vaan siitä, kuinka Netflix on merkinnyt sarjan LGBTQ-leimalla.
Evan Peters näyttelee sarjassa Dahmeria.
Dahmer oli homoseksuaali mies, joka jahtasi lähinnä etnisiin vähemmistöön kuuluvia nuoria homomiehiä. Hän murhasi uhrinsa, paloitteli ruumiit ja söi niitä sekä harrasti myös seksiä ruumiiden kanssa. Luista hän rakensi kellariinsa erilaisia alttareita.
Dahmerilla on ainakin 17 varmistettua uhria, jotka hän tappoi vuosina 1978–1991.
LGBTQ-yhteisö on raivostunut, koska Dahmer ei heidän mukaansa edusta oikeanlaista seksuaalivähemmistöjen representaatiota.
