James Gunn kerää lisää vihaa uutena DC Studiosin johtajana. Ensin hän antoi kirvestä Wonder Woman 3:lle ja nyt Henry Cavill on saanut jättää Superman-roolinsa.
Cavillin potkuista huhuiltiin jo aiemmin samassa yhteydessä, jossa puhuttiin, että Jason Momoa joutuisi jättämään Aquamanin. Tosin Momoasta tulisi saman huhun myötä DC:n Lobo.

Oli miten oli, mutta Dwayne Johnson kertoi taannoisissa Black Adam -haastatteluissa taistelleensa Cavillin paluun puolesta. Hän halusi tarjota faneille juuri sitä mitä he haluavat.
Nyt Johnson saa lokaa niskaansa, koska hänen takiaan fanit ehtivät innostua aivan liikaa.
Tätä myöten Snyderverse alkaa olla kuopattu. Saapa nähdä miten Aquaman 2:n, Shazam! 2:n ja The Flashin lopulta käy.
Fanit väittävät, että Johnsonin takia myös The Witcher on pilattu, koska Cavill jätti huhujen mukaan sarjan Supermanin takia. Toiset lähteet taas kertovat Cavillin lähteneen sarjasta, koska sen käsikirjoitus ei miellyttänyt The Witcher -fanipoika Cavillia.
